Every week, Roger gets better for Voiceover users. The scrub gesture doesnt work to go back a screen, but its not a huge deal. Roger has become my go-to app for chatting. Text feels so dead by comparison. Groups are great and I look forward to more to do with them in the future because I think having real, focused discussions is what makes Roger so much fun for me. The sound quality is so awesome and I hope that never changes. Roger has made me more sociable and talking has become so much fun. Connecting with and meeting people in such a vibrant manner as voice, but with sound quality so good that it feels like the person is in the same room, is amazing. Talking on a cell phone is horrible by comparison. Even FaceTime, as good as I think the audio is, still doesnt sound as crisp. Its clear Roger is focused on bringing people together, on community, and on the quality of voice conversations, and Im so grateful to have been introduced to it. Also, theres no privacy issue with phone numbers, since all people need is your handle/screen name. Id recommend this to everyone. Maybe, with the sound of human voices, connections will come alive and warm peoples hearts in a way the impersonality of text just cant.

This software is a joy to use. It is easy to use, respects privacy, and has excellent sound quality. It also has the advantage of not taking up a lot of room on your device.

Its a very fun app. And its nice to hear someones voice when youre missing them but cant exactly talk on the phone at the moment.

Its actually really good and I am enjoying it. Too soon to critique or give suggestions tho. Really smooth app!

Roger has introduced the ability to block contacts on its service. However, it might be nice to be able to unblock users right within the app, rather than email Roger support. All in all though, a fine walki-talki app.

I do love the quality of the sound. It is the best sound you will find anywhere. I wish it did not send the other person or persons a notifacation each time you listened and if you could save at least a 30 second message because the very next message they send you makes it where you cant hear it again. I use it several times a day and couldnt live without it even if I had to pay for it and I am not big on apps but this one takes the cake. ❤️❤️❤️ it!

Compared to many other voice chat apps, this app has an interface that makes it possible to switch between conversations and chat without having to switch between many screens. The sound quality is the best Ive ever heard in a voice chat app for iOS. However, the above comes a huge cost in battery. All is fine as long as you talk directly with people one-on-one, but, once you start talking in groups, your battery and mobile data valance quickly disappear. I was using it with 2 small (about 15 people) groups, and, in the course of a day, Roger would consume half my battery and nearly 100MB of data. Over a month, thats about 3GB of data, just to keep up with only 2 groups. The battery drain, though, is the reason Ive stopped using Roger. No matter how good it sounds, I cant have it cut my battery life by half. Ive gone back to other voice chat apps. Finally, while its nice to be notified of new messages in many situations, sometimes, you dont care. Roger is very very bad when it comes to leaving you alone. You can mute a conversation, but only temporarily. If you decide you would rather turn off Rogers notifications entirely, youre endlessly hurrassed by the app to re-enable them: every time you open the app, every time you send a message, etc. This behavior seems extremely user-hostile to me, and a main reason Ive stopped using Roger. In closing, it sounds great, but the battery drain, crazy data consumption, and the way it hurrasses you with notifications that you cant disablemake this app not worth your time.

Audio clarity is superb! Easy-to-use and lots of fun.

Ive spent 1.5 hours trying to access Alexa on Amazon Echo with no success. Roger keeps telling me that Im connected but there is no evidence of such that I can find on any page of the Roger app. I just want to talk to Alexa, not all of my contact list. The user interface is very poor and not intuitive in my judgement. And I use a lot of apps so I have experience. Very frustrating. A big circular path with little help. Id rate this a 1 except Im giving the app a little slack.

Not working with Amazon Alexa.

My fiancée and I are moving from OR to AZ, thus weve a long drive in two separate vehicles... Wed thought about purchasing a set of walkie-talkies but found this app and thought wed give it a try... It works, if you can deal with having your messages delivered anywhere from 20 minutes to several hours later... The whole idea of a walkie-talkie on a road trip is to tell someone you need gas, lets stop for food or I need to use the bathroom... Obviously this app needs some improvements and we wound up calling each other as the response time is much better.

I love this app. Its so concurrent and the groups are great. I use it for work and social things! However this new live feature while the all is closed is horrible. If Im in the middle of work things, it crashes Teamspeak so it can play. Also it fights with Teamspeak quite a bit if you have both launched at the same time.

Maybe I shouldve discovered it sooner but it seems no longer working with Amazon Alexa
